This position is entirely remote, allowing you to create a flexible work schedule from the comfort of your home. The telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that facilitates seamless communication between therapists and clients. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs, ensuring you have a work-life balance while meeting the therapeutic demands of your clients.

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture each patient’s unique experiences.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques suitable for individual patients, considering their cultural background and personal history.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address varied mental health concerns, fostering resilience and improved quality of life.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention support and strategies during mental health emergencies, acting swiftly to stabilize the situation.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, effective treatment options, and accessible community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in the healing process.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to enhance professional development.
• Stay updated with current research, evolving best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually improve treatment methodologies.

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals from multicultural backgrounds, encompassing various ethnicities, orientations, and experiences. By delivering culturally responsive therapy, you will address the mental health needs of various clientele, thus promoting equity in mental health access and outcomes. Your contributions will directly influence the well-being and recovery paths of those who may have faced barriers to traditional therapy.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a commitment to cultural competence.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive strategies.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with a proven ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a strong capacity to establish rapport and trust with diverse individuals.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and other relevant computer applications, ensuring effective management of patient documentation and communication.
• A steadfast commitment to ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all aspects of practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working specifically in a telehealth environment, demonstrating adaptability to remote therapy practices.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
• Previous involvement with diverse community outreach initiatives or programs.
