Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, setting your own availability based on your preferences and patient needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique goals and challenges.
  • Utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate client engagement.
  • Lead therapeutic support groups, offering a safe space for peer discussion and recovery experiences.
  • Encourage clients to explore community recovery support options, ensuring they understand the integration of external programs without duplicating treatment services.
  • Participate in our Monthly Peer Group for professional support and growth (optional).
  • Stay connected with our Clinical Operations Team and leverage the resources of our Care Coordination Team to enhance client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking help in managing their alcohol use and related challenges. Many clients will come to us with varying degrees of readiness for change; some may seek moderation strategies, while others may prefer abstinence. The ideal candidate will understand the harm-reduction model and be prepared to cater their approach based on client preferences. Familiarity with community resources such as AA, Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management is essential, as clients will often reference these when discussing their recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of California.
