CWI Remote Operations Professional

Partner with the best

The Remote Operations Professional supports completions operations from one of our onshore remote operation centers. This role ensures job execution is in full compliance with customer contract requirements by strictly adhering to our Managing the Job Cycle process. As the primary communication link, the Remote Professional shares job details, monitors tool performance, and provides real-time work instructions to the Region and Field Specialists when needed. Additionally, this role oversees all operational steps, remotely monitors daily well site activities, and delivers technical support both before and after operations.

As a CWI Remote Operations Professional, you will have the following responsibilities

Remote Professionals are responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (eMtJC)

  • Real time execution and direction of well site activities from remote hub location.

  • Executing the operational plan in accordance with the approved program.

  • Cascading all operational decisions and updates from well site to all parties involved.

  • Engaging with responsible focal points to determine appropriate actions.

  • Provides adequate connection to Product Line and AMO Support as needed.

Additional Product Line specific requirements:

  • Conducting business in accordance with company HSE & compliance expectations.

  • Coordinating with Operations

    • Job Timing

    • Pre-Job Planning

      • Participate in pre-job meetings

      • Review procedures

      • Review Simulations

    • Coordinating and manage in Real Time Data Monitoring of Job Execution

  • Daily oversight on job progress at well-site prior to job execution

    • Review field reports daily and/or obtain job status updates from customer and/or operations.

    • Identify potential issues and address or elevate as necessary.

  • Attending morning operator's meetings if possible

  • Taking calls from well sites on technical issues.

  • Communicating with Operations Coordinators regularly.

  • Evaluating job information to prepare Post-Job Report for delivery to Customer.

  • Capture lessons learned, and KPIs.

  • Supporting peer reviews of critical job designs per sub product line requirement.

  • Shall provide support throughout the job cycle specifically operational readiness & execution phases.

  • Supporting reliability & service delivery in incident Investigation & implementation of root cause analysis/corrective actions.

  • Available to provide 24/7 support especially for critical operations.

  • Any other reasonable business request as required.

  • Have a bachelor's degree (or Global degree equivalent) in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics OR equivalent relevant industry experience.

  • Have strong communication skills, written and verbal.

  • Have an analytical approach to problem solving and be motivated and focused on results.

  • Have IT Skills - Software Applications for Remote Monitoring and Support

  • Have prior field experience in the Product line

  • Be an excellent communicator, able to build a strong network with various stakeholders across business units.

  • Have courage to Stop Work when you feel unsafe or experience unsafe conditions.

  • Have strong IT skills, and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipment.

  • Be excited to learn new technical skills with regards to digital oilfield and various transmission protocols.

  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy the need to react quickly to find solutions to problems.
