Work Environment

As a fully remote clinic, we provide our clinicians with the flexibility to work from the comfort of their homes or preferred environments. We maintain a fully integrated support system with an Operations team that handles administrative tasks and logistics, allowing our therapists to concentrate on what matters most – client care. Additionally, our remote setup is equipped with secure telehealth tools, ensuring effective therapy sessions while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand patients’ mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, with therapeutic approaches tailored to the unique circumstances of adolescent and young adult clients.
• Engage in regular case consultations with fellow clinicians to enhance treatment effectiveness and incorporate best practices.
• Document patient progress and updates meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in scheduled supervision and professional development sessions, including case discussions and peer reviews, to sharpen clinical skills.
• Remain accessible to clients for telehealth appointments, offering scheduling slots and being responsive to emerging client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on servicing adolescents and young adults, recognizing that mental health needs during these formative years can have lasting impacts on individuals’ personal and professional lives. By managing a caseload that allows for intensive engagement, with a maximum of eight clients in group sessions, our therapists have the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships that enhance healing. Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Hold appropriate licensure in the state of California, including but not limited to LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT. Junior-licensed therapists are also encouraged to apply, as supervision is available.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week for contract positions, with full-time availability required for W2 positions, including some evenings and Saturdays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster supportive relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a clinical or counseling setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed care and manage treatment for complex cases.

Compensation and Benefits

Mind Over Matter Therapeutics Clinic offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience, with an annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000.
