Position Overview

Medical City Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team at our Detox Center. This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional mental health services to individuals facing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. As a fully licensed LCSW, you will provide psychotherapy and support services to our clientele, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Maintaining high standards of documentation by recording clinical notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care that meets patients' comprehensive mental health needs.
  • Engaging in regular peer consultations and case reviews to share insights and enhance treatment quality.
  • Offering educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families regarding their mental health journeys.
  • Staying current with developments in the mental health landscape to continuously apply innovative approaches to therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on a diverse patient population that includes individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. You will be instrumental in addressing their mental health needs within the context of their recovery, providing them with the coping tools and supports necessary to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license to practice in California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, with a strong background in addiction treatment preferred.
  • Expertise in solution-focused interventions that encourage patient engagement and foster resilience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a full caseload while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus of $3000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
