Allied Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team in providing top-notch mental health services. • Conduct initial assessments and interviews to evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
• Document case histories from the first consultation through the completion of treatment, ensuring thorough and precise records.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on identified needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal expression and growth.
• Continuously monitor client progress within the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to deliver comprehensive care to clients.
• Provide follow-up support for clients who may require hospitalization or additional interventions.
• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges associated with their loved ones.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE) is necessary.
• Demonstrated previous experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your ability to provide quality care.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, is preferred.

• Experience with treating underlying physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of medications prescribed in conjunction with mental health issues is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for documenting cases and interacting with clients and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a supportive demeanor are critical attributes for building trusting relationships with clients.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
