Who You Are:
The Legal Operations Specialist, Litigation, Intellectual Property & Brand Protection, serves as the operational lead for HighLevel's litigation, eDiscovery, intellectual property, and brand protection operations. This role designs scalable processes, administers legal technologies, manages outside counsel and legal vendors, and drives operational excellence across legal matters.
What You Will Do
  • Litigation Operations
    • Manage day-to-day operational support of litigation matters.
    • Coordinate litigation holds, legal preservation notices, and custodian tracking.
    • Partner with Engineering, Security, IT, and Product teams to preserve electronically stored information (ESI).
    • Support document collections and productions.
    • Maintain litigation trackers, reporting, and matter documentation.
    • Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, subpoenas, investigations, and regulatory matters.
    • Manage litigation vendors and legal service providers.
    • Develop standardized litigation workflows and SOPs.
    • Monitor litigation metrics and recommend operational improvements.
  • eDiscovery & Legal Holds
    • Administer litigation processes, custodian interviews, data preservation, document collections, review coordination, production tracking, vendor management, and reporting.
    • Preferred platforms: Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Exterro, Microsoft Purview, Logikcull.
  • Intellectual Property Operations
    • Manage trademark portfolio administration.
    • Support patent portfolio administration, docketing, and outside counsel coordination.
    • Coordinate copyright registrations.
    • Manage domain names, docketing, renewals, reporting, and outside counsel relationships.
    • Track IP budgets and metrics.
  • Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA)
    • Coordinate DMCA takedown requests and counter-notices.
    • Support copyright infringement investigations.
    • Collect and preserve evidence.
    • Communicate with online platforms and service providers.
    • Track repeat infringement matters.
    • Identify automation opportunities for copyright enforcement.
  • Brand Protection & Marketplace Enforcement
    • Support investigations involving trademark infringement, counterfeit products, unauthorized resellers, brand impersonation, MAP violations, domain disputes, and online marketplace enforcement.
    • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Security, and outside counsel.
    • Support investigations involving trademark infringement, counterfeit goods, domain abuse, phishing, unauthorized resellers, marketplace violations, impersonation, and online brand misuse.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop scalable workflows and SOPs.
    • Implement automation opportunities.
    • Build dashboards and KPIs.
    • Improve cross-functional collaboration.
    • Evaluate legal technologies supporting litigation and IP.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; paralegal or legal operations certificate preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Legal Operations, Litigation Support, Intellectual Property, eDiscovery, or a related legal function.
  • Experience supporting U.S. litigation and legal preservation obligations.
  • Experience with Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, and Exterro, or other similar ediscovery tool.
  • Strong understanding of litigation holds and eDiscovery.
  • Experience coordinating with outside counsel.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $84000 - $110000 annually.
