Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Integrity & Management Transformation Program Manager to serve as a key member of a newly established Enterprise Transformation Office. Reporting directly to the Enterprise Transformation PMO Lead, this individual will lead enterprise-wide data readiness, governance, quality, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and management initiatives supporting large-scale business transformation programs including ERP implementations. This role will serve as the program/project manager responsible for ensuring business-critical data is accurate, complete, trusted, governed, and ready to support enterprise transformation initiatives.
Success requires exceptional analytical experience, strong business process knowledge, executive consulting skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into structured data management activities. The successful candidate must own deliverables from concept through completion while partnering with business leaders, technology teams, functional subject matter experts, and executive leadership. Responsibilities include developing enterprise data governance practices, coordinating master data management initiatives, overseeing data cleansing and validation, supporting ERP implementations including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OneStream. This is a 9+ month remote role requiring up to 1-2 weeks of travel per month. Candidates must be able to work Central Time hours and be fully authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer. Please note that we do not work C2C.
Responsibilities
• Lead enterprise data integrity, governance, quality, master data management, and business data readiness initiatives supporting strategic transformation programs across the organization.
• Coordinate enterprise data workstreams while partnering closely with the Enterprise Transformation PMO Lead to support portfolio governance and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Develop enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, policies, procedures, ownership models, stewardship responsibilities, approval workflows, and sustainable operating practices.
• Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to establish enterprise-wide data standards supporting consistent reporting, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead enterprise data assessment activities by identifying data quality issues, inconsistencies, redundancies, gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop comprehensive data readiness plans and coordinate data cleansing, normalization, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities to ensure high-quality enterprise data supporting business operations and technology
• Partner w/ ERP implementation teams supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, OneStream, and related systems to ensure data is properly structured, governed, validated, and migrated.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestone schedules, RAID logs, dependency trackers, issue registers, executive dashboards, governance documentation, and status reporting supporting enterprise data initiatives.
• Create executive-quality PowerPoint presentations, Steering Committee materials, executive dashboards, governance reports, KPI scorecards, business readiness updates, executive communications, and strategic recommendations.
• Align data structures with redesigned business processes supporting Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Management, Human Resources, Asset Management, and enterprise reporting.
• Coordinate testing activities supporting data migration, system validation, user acceptance testing, reconciliation efforts, financial reporting validation, and operational readiness.
• Support organizational change management initiatives by developing communication plans, training materials, governance documentation, process guides, and business adoption strategies related to enterprise data management.
• Identify data-related risks, dependencies, compliance concerns, security considerations, and operational impacts while developing mitigation strategies and executive recommendations.
• Facilitate executive decision-making by providing concise analysis, organized information, executive-ready reporting, actionable recommendations, and visibility into enterprise data quality, governance maturity, and transformation readiness.
Requirements
Qualifications
• 8+ years leading enterprise data management, data governance, master data management (MDM), ERP implementations, business transformation, program management, management consulting, or large-scale operational improvement initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrate success leading enterprise data quality, governance, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, migration, and business readiness initiatives supporting large-scale transformation programs and ERP implementations.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining enterprise data governance frameworks, stewardship models, ownership structures, business rules, data standards, quality controls, and sustainable operating procedures.
• Experience within Oil & Gas, Energy Services, or other asset-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
• Experience in planning and coordinating enterprise data migration activities including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, normalization, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover planning, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and financial reporting, KPI development, executive dashboards, and BI solutions supporting executive decision-making.
• Experience with partnering with business process owners to align enterprise data structures with redesigned business processes supporting digital transformation, ERP modernization and implementation (Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream or similar), and continuous process improvement.
• Experience in developing integrated project plans, dashboards, governance documentation, RAID logs, milestone schedules, dependency trackers, issue registers, executive scorecards, and portfolio reporting for enterprise data initiatives.
• Strong ability to balance executive strategy with detailed hands-on execution while maintaining exceptional organization, responsiveness, analytical rigor, and attention to detail.
• Exceptional consulting, facilitation, executive communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to independently develop polished executive deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, Steering Committee materials, and executive dashboards.
• Experience with facilitating executive governance meetings, business process reviews, data governance councils, executive planning sessions, and strategic alignment discussions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience performing data profiling, root cause analysis, reconciliation, trend analysis, quality assessments, exception reporting, and business performance measurement.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, Planview, Visio, and other enterprise collaboration and project management platforms.
• Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives with PROSCI knowledge or certification.
• Experience operating within SOX-compliant, publicly traded, or highly regulated business environments is preferred.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement through development of repeatable governance frameworks and data management methodologies.
Education/Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, Management Information Systems is required. Master's degree or MBA in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
• PROSCI Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, are highly desirable.
• Formal training/certification in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Enterprise Information Management, Business Intelligence, ERP implementation, or Enterprise Architecture is a strong advantage.
• Experience participating in Enterprise PMO organizations, enterprise transformation initiatives, ERP implementation programs, or management consulting engagements supporting large-scale business transformation is desirable.
Compensation
Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 9+ month consulting opportunity with an annual salary range of $120,000-$150,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
