Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Oasis of Serenity Healthcare, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans based on established best practices and solution-oriented approaches.
• Administering diverse therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to align with each client's preferences and mental health needs.
• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborating closely with other mental health professionals in case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance service delivery and patient care quality.
• Providing education and resources to clients and their families, fostering understanding and support regarding mental health concerns and coping strategies.
• Staying informed of the latest research in mental health practices and integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on a diverse patient population, primarily those entering our detox center, who may be experiencing co-occurring disorders including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their recovery processes with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
• Expertise in evidence-based psychotherapy interventions and strong understanding of mental health best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, essential for developing and implementing effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience
