About the Role

As aTechnical Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind successful customer deployments for Elsevier's Mytonomy Cloud for Healthcare platform. Serving as the primary point of coordination throughout the implementation lifecycle, you will partner with health systems to translate clinical, operational, and business requirements into configured, integrated, and scalable solutions that improve patient engagement and healthcare outcomes. This role will require office presence, ideally 1-2 days per week in our Bethesda, MD office.

In this highly cross-functional role, you will own end-to-end customer implementations-from project kickoff through go-live-ensuring deployments are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer objectives. You will work closely with Customer Success, Clinical, Product, Marketing, and Content teams to configure customer environments, manage technical integrations with EHR systems (primarily Epic), and guide organizations through technical, operational, and clinical readiness activities.

Leveraging your expertise in healthcare technology, interoperability standards, and clinical workflows, you will advise customers on integrations involving HL7, SMART on FHIR, APIs, and related technologies. You will also lead the deployment of Mytonomy Patient Experience Cloud, oversee testing and validation activities, coordinate stakeholder communications and training programs, and ensure clinical teams are prepared for a successful launch.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills to help customers translate business requirements to technical and workflow requirements
  • Strong Project Management skills to drive implementations to successful go-live using internal tools such as Asana
  • Deep understanding of Epic workflows in hospital and ambulatory settings from either the clinical end-user perspective or application-level experience.
  • Advise customers on how to integrate with Mytonomy's platform via HL7, SMART on FHIR, APIs, and more.
  • Use Mytonomy's internal tools to configure customer systems and integrations
  • Work with CS and Clinical teams to map content between Mytonomy's platform and customer EHR systems (primarily Epic).
  • Share feedback and data with the product team to influence product enhancements and new features
  • Coordinate with internal content teams to track the progress of content development and localization for client deployments.
  • Ensure training materials and how-to guides are created and distributed to clinical staff prior to go-live
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Director during implementation to ensure on-time project delivery and alignment with customer business objectives, maintaining clear documentation throughout the transition to ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, EHR deployment, or a closely related field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for clinical and operational audiences
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and drive implementations to successful go-live
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana
  • Strong familiarity with Epic workflows in hospital and ambulatory settings; Epic certification or hands-on configuration experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with healthcare technology partners and integration tools (e.g., Redox, HL7, SMART on FHIR) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or healthcare-related discipline

  • This role can be located in our Bethesda, MD office or remote, with a preference for candidates within 50 miles of the Bethesda office.
  • This position will report to the Senior Customer Success Director.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
