Job description

Position: Technical Project Manager - Part Time
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $125-175k
KeyLogic has an immediate need for a Technical Project Manager to serve as a project and program management resource supporting the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Petroleum Reserves (OPR).
The Technical Project Manager will work in a consulting role supporting DOE's efforts related to maintenance and operations (M&O) contract elements as part of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. The Technical Project Manager will provide strategic advisory, management, and technical support services to consult, collect information, review, plan, develop, recommend, and implement appropriate actions required to assist in executing the programs within the OPR.
Position Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or Engineering, or work history related to the same.
  • PMP Certification is preferred, working toward CAPM or PMP certification is required.
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • This position requires an on-site presence at the Forrestal Building in Washington D.C.
  • Familiarity with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and DOE record retention procedures, management of permanent records and retention process.
  • Preparation and distribution of outreach and engagement materials related to OPR goals and objectives.
  • Coordination of meetings, conferences and engagements, involving Headquarters, Field personnel, private companies, and other Federal agencies.
  • Development and publication of other documents, such as technical reports and briefings, presentation materials including graphics, and paper presentations for OPR and DOE executive management.
  • Develop products using information from public facing data sources to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a capacity for working across multiple disciplines
  • Experience and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization from analysts to senior leadership
  • Define projects, collect requirements, develop detailed implementation plans, maintain alignment, develop risk mitigation plans, and monitor program status across multiple activities to reduce or remove dependencies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in support of a diverse team that includes both site support contractors and Federal personnel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and working with and managing multiple project teams of varying size and scope with tight deadlines
  • Understand and anticipate client, operational, project, and people needs. Be able to identify and execute independently on the anticipated needs.
  • Deliver results through managing and integrating cross functional teams. Ability to listen and interpret client needs, identify the solution, stand-up the needed resources, and execute to results.
