The Director, Clinical Solutions is responsible for leading the strategic growth, development, and overall effectiveness of Ascom's Clinical Application Consulting function. This role ensures the organization delivers scalable, high-quality clinical consulting, training, and post-deployment success programs that drive measurable improvements in customer outcomes. This leader will standardize and optimize clinical consultation, testing, and training methodologies across the organization, while also developing innovative clinical programs leveraging Ascom solutions-including emerging care models such as Virtual Nursing and Silent ICU. As a key member of the Professional Services Leadership team, this role plays a critical part in enabling customer adoption, improving clinical workflows, and ensuring long-term customer success following deployment.

Lead, mentor, and scale the Clinical Application Consultants team, driving performance, consistency, and professional growth.

Process Standardization & Operational Excellence
Design, implement, and continuously improve standardized clinical consultation methodologies across all customer engagements.

Develop repeatable frameworks that ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across diverse healthcare environments.
Training Strategy & Scalable Enablement
Reengineer and modernize the clinical training program to support scalability across enterprise healthcare and industry customers.
Develop standardized training curricula, documentation, and toolkits that can be deployed consistently across organizations.
Create interactive and simulation-based training experiences that closely mimic real-world system usage.
Design training assets that can be integrated into customer Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support ongoing education and adoption at scale.
Ensure training programs drive measurable adoption and competency across clinical end users.
Innovation & Program Development
Lead the development of new clinical programs leveraging Ascom solutions that address evolving healthcare delivery models
Drive innovation in areas such as Alarm Management, Virtual Nursing, Silent ICU
Advanced clinical communication workflows
Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer stakeholders to identify unmet needs and translate them into scalable, solution-based programs.
Establish frameworks for piloting, validating, and scaling new use cases across the customer base.
Customer Success & Change Management
Develop and implement a structured Customer Success program supporting clients post-deployment.
Establish a data-driven approach to customer success by leveraging clinical and operational KPIs to measure adoption and solution impact.
Support customers through organizational change associated with new technology adoption
Partner with customers to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable workflow improvements.
Develop standardized reporting frameworks and dashboards to communicate value and outcomes to clinical and executive stakeholders.
Provide guidance to customer leadership on best practices for driving behavioral and workflow change.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to enhance clinical efficiency and patient safety outcomes.
Lead efforts to identify expansion opportunities through demonstrated value realization.
Strategic Collaboration
Partner with Sales to support strategic opportunities by providing clinical expertise and ensuring alignment between proposed solutions and customer needs.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities based on clinical insights and customer feedback.
Contribute to broader Professional Services strategy and organizational initiatives.
What you would bring to Ascom
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum 7+ years of clinical experience in acute care and/or healthcare industry roles supporting clinical solutions.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience within a clinical workflow technology organization (Example: Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Virtual Nursing, Clinical Communications)
Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience, including team development and program ownership.
Demonstrated success in building and scaling programs, processes, or service offerings.
Strong understanding of enterprise clinical workflows and communication challenges across healthcare systems.
Experience in training development, instructional design, or scalable enablement programs preferred.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in complex healthcare environments.
Excellent executive-level presentation and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 75%.
