Job description

Agentic Automation Engineer
Relevate operates a complex omnichannel engine - hundreds of campaigns, dozens of platforms, and a delivery infrastructure spanning ESPs, DSPs, EHR networks, and internal operations teams. Today, too much of that engine still relies on human effort: manual intake processes, SOPs executed by hand, on-demand reporting, and workflows that haven't evolved in years.
The Agentic Automation Engineer changes that. You'll identify where human effort is standing in for a well-designed system and build the automated replacement - using agents, workflows, and integrations that make Relevate's operations faster, more reliable, and more scalable. Your scope spans the full operational stack: from how an RFP is received, to how campaign reporting is generated, to how alerts trigger when integrations fail.
Great automation engineers are relentless about reducing friction. They notice the task someone has been doing manually for years, understand why it exists, and replace it with something better - something that runs cleanly without constant oversight.
If you get genuine satisfaction from seeing a workflow run end-to-end without human intervention - and just as much discomfort when something breaks silently - this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, prioritize, and automate high-friction operational workflows across Relevate's omnichannel platforms - starting with intake, reporting, and SOP execution
• Build agent-driven workflows using tools like n8n, Claude-powered automations, and API integrations across our platform stack (SFMC, DSP, Workfront, Slack, Redshift, and others)
• Automate RFP response assembly, campaign reporting, work intake routing, and other structured repeatable processes
• Integrate with delivery channels - ESP (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), DSP (Audienceology/IQM), EHR networks - to produce automated reports, alerts, and data feeds
• Build internal-facing automations that surface operational intelligence through Slack, dashboards, or scheduled digests
• Create lightweight test frameworks to validate that automated workflows produce correct, consistent output - especially for compliance-adjacent processes
• Document all automation logic clearly enough that it can be maintained, extended, or handed off without the original builder present
• Work closely with Marketing Ops, Data Engineering, and Technology Production to understand where automation can absorb operational drag
Success Measures
• Demonstrates accountability for outcomes and deadlines
• Builds strong internal and external partnerships
• Adapts to change with professionalism and resilience
• Delivers work aligned with quality, timeliness, and business impact
Skills / Qualifications
• Hands-on experience building workflow automations, integrations, or process bots (n8n, Zapier, Make, or custom API work)
• Familiarity with LLM-powered automation- using Claude or similar models as orchestration layers in multi-step workflows
• API fluency (REST, webhooks, OAuth) - able to read docs and connect systems independently
• Experience with omnichannel marketing platforms (ESP, DSP, CRM, or similar) is a strong plus
• Systems thinking - you design beyond individual tasks, accounting for edge cases, failure modes, and scalability
• Strong written communication - your documentation enables others to understand, maintain, and extend your work
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus - with an understanding of the added complexity around PHI and compliance
Work Environment
• Standard office or remote work environment
• May require occasional travel or extended hours during peak business periods
