The Brien Center for Psychological Matters is seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position plays a critical role in delivering compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health therapy to individuals at our Detox Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. • The LCSW will report to the Social Work Manager, providing critical evaluations and treatment for a variety of psychosocial challenges. You will utilize advanced clinical skills to assist patients and families in overcoming obstacles related to mental or physical health issues.
• Your role includes completing comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment and enhance patients' health statuses.
• Collaboration with medical staff will be crucial as you provide insights regarding each patient's psychosocial functioning to help formulate tailored treatment plans that improve care coordination and compliance.
• You will employ both group and individual therapy modalities, conducting ongoing analysis of treatment efficacy to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Documentation is a key component of this role; you will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with departmental and legal standards.
• Education and advocacy for patients and their families will also be fundamental, as you guide them in understanding and implementing recommendations to facilitate optimal functioning.
• Regular attendance at training sessions will be expected, helping to keep you informed of the latest community resources and tailored interventions for our patient population.

The LCSW will engage with a diverse patient population seeking detoxification and mental health support. Our patients often face challenges stemming from substance use and related psychosocial issues. Understanding the unique needs of each individual, including their cultural background and healthcare preferences, is essential for effective treatment.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a current clinical license (LCSW) are required.
• The candidate must have a minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience, ideally in a healthcare or mental health setting with similar patient populations.
• Strong analytical skills and therapeutic expertise are necessary to assess patients effectively, develop individualized treatment plans, and evaluate their progress.
• Familiarity with the NASW Code of Ethics and the ability to adhere to professional standards of practice will be essential in your daily work.

Experience working with patients in detoxification settings, as well as knowledge of community resources and advocacy, will enhance your ability to support our patients effectively. A demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development in social work practices, particularly in mental health and substance use disorders, is highly valued.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
