Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on enhancing client mental health and overall well-being.
• Facilitating open discussions around emotions, experiences, and relationships, helping clients to gain meaningful insights into their lives.
• Advocating for clients' needs and assisting them in establishing realistic and actionable therapeutic goals.
• Performing thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions and formulating tailored treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach, based on your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Bliss Care primarily serves clients who are stable and have low acuity levels, ensuring a manageable caseload that allows you to provide effective therapeutic interventions. All clients are prescreened before being assigned to you, enhancing the therapeutic process and enabling impactful contributions to their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent therapy license issued by the state board, which may include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Exceptional professional evaluation skills for making informed decisions and recommendations regarding treatment planning and interventions.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach toward client interactions.
• Proficiency in computer skills to navigate our therapist portal and maintain effective communication.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
• Knowledge of contemporary therapeutic practices and innovative intervention techniques.
