Job description

Job Title: NOC Service Desk Support (3rd Shift – Midnight to 8am)
Location: onsite in Memphis, TN
Estimated Duration: Long term contract
Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in USA)
 
Job Description:
Provide after-hours Service Desk support and perform Network Operations Center functions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor completion of daily job schedules, including Appworx / AppManager jobs supporting Customer Information Systems, Oracle E-Business Suite, and other applications.

  • Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as SolarWinds, Lansweeper, Nagios, and Splunk.

  • Oversee a wide range of information and network systems including telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN environments, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, storage, backups, operating systems, and core applications.

  • Perform routine systems testing and operational tasks such as patch installation, network connectivity checks, and script execution.

  • Respond promptly to incidents, outages, and performance alerts.

  • Troubleshoot and provide first-level support for PCs, laptops, printers, software, applications, and peripheral hardware.

  • Log all issues in the Business Manager problem tracking system.

  • Escalate issues to second-level support staff when necessary.

  • Deliver professional and courteous service to all individuals contacting or visiting the Service Desk.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Computer Operations or a Network Operations Center (NOC).

  • Minimum of 2 years’ help desk or service desk experience.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with networking equipment.

  • At least 2 years of Windows Server administration experience (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, or 2022).

  • Ability to work rotating night shifts between 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

  • Experience providing remote support through virtual desktop tools.

  • Broad experience with monitoring platforms and ticket management systems.
