Network Engineer
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our network engineering team. In this role, you'll be designing, implementing, and maintaining a varied network spanning the globe. This position will ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network connectivity across our distributed environment.

You Have:
  • Experience with WAN optimization, application performance monitoring, and network security
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, EBGP, EVPN, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, and firewall policies
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid cloud architectures, and integration with public cloud providers
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with SD-WAN platforms in enterprise or large-scale environments
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting for network configuration such as Python and Ansible
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus or Grafana, and ELK
  • Knowledge of EVPN, EBGP, and other Control or Data plane protocols
  • Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
