Job description

Job Title: Junior Network Engineer
Job Location:Remote
Job Duration: Fulltime
Client: Federal
Criteria- Need ship because of federal regulations and the sensitive nature of the work involved. Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure.
  • Required certification: CCNA or JNCIA (ITIL Foundation is a plus).
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP/IP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree.
  • Experience with wireless networking, network monitoring, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to support production environments, on-call rotations, and break/fix activities.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, network diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Familiarity with network deployments, site surveys, and hardware validation/testing.
  • Python and Ansible scripting experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
