This role is primarily remote, offering flexibility while allowing you to engage directly with students and their families in a school setting. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students, developing individualized treatment plans that address their unique mental health needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to facilitate positive changes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and parents to develop strategies that enhance student well-being and academic performance.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health, providing resources and support throughout their journey of recovery and growth.
• Stay current on the latest trends and methodologies in social work and mental health care to continuously improve service delivery.

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your work will involve not only therapy sessions but also group interventions and community outreach initiatives to foster a supportive environment for mental wellness.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in clinical social work, particularly with school-aged children or adolescents.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting assessments and formulating treatment strategies.
• Exceptional communication abilities, enabling you to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and other software systems to manage client interactions and documentation.

• Experience working in a school-based setting or with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with additional therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Play Therapy.
• Existing relationships with community resources to support client referrals and services.
