Responsibilities & Expectations: 

IPS is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This remote role will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager at IPS headquarters in Greenville, SC.

The ideal candidate will have full-cycle recruiting experience supporting technical and field service positions, with a strong preference for experience recruiting NETA-certified professionals and other electrical power testing, engineering, and field service talent. This individual will play a critical role in helping IPS attract top technical talent to support our commitment to delivering an Unmatched Customer Experience.

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for a variety of technical, field service, engineering, and corporate positions across the organization
  • Execute recruiting strategies for NETA-certified positions, including Electrical Testing Technicians, Field Service Engineers, Relay Technicians, and other critical power systems roles
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage highly specialized technical talent within the electrical testing and power services industry
  • Conduct strategy meetings with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, technical requirements, hiring priorities, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Evaluate candidates throughout the recruitment process, including resume review, phone screening, and interviews, to assess technical qualifications, certifications, experience, and cultural fit
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill and high-demand technical positions
  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies and programs to attract passive candidates and strengthen talent pipelines in competitive labor markets
  • Promote the IPS employment brand through professional networking, industry associations, social media, and recruiting outreach initiatives
  • Stay current on recruiting trends, labor market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and industry developments related to electrical testing and NETA-certified talent
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and operational leaders across the organization to support current and future hiring needs
  • Maintain regular communication with applicants, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and recruiting best practices
  • Support additional recruitment projects and talent acquisition initiatives as needed

Qualifications and Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting technical, engineering, skilled trades, electrical services, or industrial field service positions
  • Prior experience recruiting for NETA-certified roles or within the electrical power systems, electrical testing, switchgear, transformer, or field service industries strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with NETA certifications, electrical testing terminology, and critical power industry skill sets preferred
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and recruiting hard-to-find technical talent in competitive markets
  • Strong understanding of recruiting strategies, candidate sourcing techniques, and talent market trends
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and hiring practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with a customer-focused mindset
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools preferred
