Job description

Position Overview

Nurture Nest Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers you the flexibility to work from home, allowing you to create your own schedule while providing vital mental health care to clients through our telehealth platform.

About the Organization

Nurture Nest Counseling, LLC is committed to connecting independently licensed mental health professionals with clients in need of their services. Our mission is to support and enhance the mental well-being of individuals by offering accessible and effective counseling solutions. We provide a robust network of therapists to share best practices, resources, and a community of support while advocating for mental health awareness.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, which allows you to practice from anywhere with an internet connection. By leveraging our advanced telehealth technology, you’ll engage with clients via secure video chat. Our work environment is designed to facilitate ease of operation, minimize paperwork, and streamline your administrative duties, allowing you to focus on what matters most—your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through video conferencing, enabling effective therapy while fostering a trusting and open atmosphere.
  • Facilitate discussions where clients can explore their emotions and experiences, guiding them to gain insights into their mental health and relationships.
  • Advocate for clients by assisting them in identifying personal goals and aspirations to promote positive life changes.
  • Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and collaborate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies to ensure high-quality care and promote client well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele who are prescreened and have low acuity needs, ensuring that your caseload is manageable and focused on constructive therapeutic engagement. Clients will come from various backgrounds and experiences, providing a rich tapestry of interactions and opportunities for you to apply your skills effectively.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.
  • An active and independent state-issued license in one of the following specialties: LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • Ability to make clinical evaluations and informed decisions regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature are essential for building rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in using technology and digital platforms for counseling and documentation.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in a telehealth environment or with online therapy modalities is highly desirable. Familiarity with diverse therapeutic approaches and tools will enhance your capacity to connect with clients and address their specific needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience.
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle and personal commitments while maintaining a full caseload.
  • Minimal administrative burden thanks to comprehensive support in billing and paperwork handled by our dedicated team.
  • Access to unlimited client referrals tailored to your specialties, ensuring a steady flow of appointments.
  • A supportive virtual work culture that emphasizes regular supervision, continuous professional development, and peer networking opportunities.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Nurture Nest Counseling, you will have access to career advancement pathways, with opportunities to expand your skills and explore various domains of mental health counseling. We provide regular training, workshops, and resources aimed at enhancing your clinical expertise and professional journey.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Nurture Nest Counseling means being part of a valued community that prioritizes both the mental health of clients and the well-being of its therapists. With our emphasis on flexible work arrangements, minimal administrative duties, and a diverse client base, you can focus on delivering impactful mental health care. We believe in the mission of fostering mental health awareness and advocate for a therapist network that promotes inclusivity, understanding, and respect.

Application Information
