This full-time position allows professionals to work from the comfort of their own homes while providing critical mental health services to a diverse range of clients.

About the Organization

Nurture Nest Counseling, LLC is committed to fostering mental wellness through exceptional counseling services. Based in Chula Vista, California, our mission is to connect licensed mental health professionals with clients requiring support. We emphasize a therapist network that prioritizes accessibility, diversity, and excellence in patient care, ensuring we meet the specific needs of the communities we serve.

This remote role enables counselors to achieve work-life balance by offering the flexibility to set their own schedule while engaging with clients online. We maintain a supportive virtual work environment that values collaboration and professional growth. Counselors will utilize a state-of-the-art therapist portal designed to streamline administrative tasks and facilitate effective patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' mental health needs, implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances drawn from your clinical expertise.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic outcomes while engaging in minimal paperwork as the organization handles administrative elements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Nurture Nest Counseling specifically targets clients who are generally stable and present with low acuity needs. All clients are prescreened to ensure they are a good fit for teletherapy, allowing counselors to dedicate their time and efforts effectively without the complexities often associated with high-acuity cases.

  • A proven ability to make accurate professional evaluations, informed decisions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans that align with clients' needs.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following would be preferred:

  • Experience conducting teletherapy sessions and familiarity with digital counseling tools.
  • A track record of success in working with diverse populations and addressing a variety of mental health issues.
