Job description

Position Overview

Nurture Nest Counseling, LLC is looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team remotely. This full-time position allows experienced professionals to provide essential mental health support to clients through telehealth services, enabling a flexible work-life balance.

About the Organization

Nurture Nest Counseling, LLC is committed to enhancing mental health accessibility for individuals in need. Based in Glendale, California, our mission is to connect licensed therapists with clients requiring support in a safe and efficient manner. We focus on fostering a diverse and inclusive therapist network, recognizing the significance of varied backgrounds and experiences in the therapeutic process.

Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote working environment, allowing you to create your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home or any location with internet access. Here, you can maintain a flexible work-life balance, adapt your hours to fit your lifestyle, and manage your caseload efficiently in a supportive virtual workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one video therapy sessions, utilizing telehealth platforms to engage effectively with clients and deliver quality mental health care.
  • Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to express their emotions and experiences, fostering self-insight and improved interpersonal relationships.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of clientsโ€™ mental health conditions, employing solution-focused strategies that draw from your clinical expertise.
  • Serve as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in setting realistic goals and identifying actionable steps toward achieving these objectives.
  • Monitor and assess clientsโ€™ progress throughout therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients are prescreened and primarily exhibit low-acuity mental health needs. This positions you to work with individuals who are moderately stable, allowing a focus on skill-building and personal growth rather than crisis intervention. By connecting with a diverse client base, you will have the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approach to a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.
  • An active, independent state-issued license is mandatory, including one of the following: LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW; provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients while maintaining a sympathetic and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient computer literacy to navigate telehealth platforms and manage client documentation efficiently.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess considerable experience in counseling, particularly within telehealth settings. Familiarity with various counseling methods and a nuanced understanding of diverse client needs will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Previous experience managing a full caseload and utilizing digital platforms for therapy is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary competitive range of $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience.
  • Flexible scheduling that allows you to create a work pattern conducive to your lifestyle.
  • Minimal administrative responsibilities, as we handle billing and other paperwork to free up your time for patient care.
  • Unlimited client referrals aligned with your specialized skills, ensuring your calendar remains full.
  • Access to a therapist portal equipped with various online tools and resources tailored to your specific state licensing requirements.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Nurture Nest Counseling, we value the continuous professional development of our team members. Regular supervision sessions, peer collaboration, and professional development workshops are part of our commitment to support your growth as a mental health professional. We encourage pursuing additional certifications and training to further enhance your skill set.

Why Join Our Team

As a part of Nurture Nest Counseling, you'll be instrumental in providing care to those who may be struggling with their mental health. You will work within a supportive team environment that aims to foster your professional growth while championing your work-life balance.
