Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, focusing on strategies to enhance clients' mental health.
• Facilitate discussions with clients about their emotions, experiences, and challenges, helping them gain deeper insights into their behaviors and interpersonal relationships.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of clients’ conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices and your clinical expertise.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining and achieving their personal goals for mental health and wellness.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our organization serves a diverse range of clients, with a strong emphasis on those in low acuity situations. This means that you will primarily work with individuals who are stable and have been pre-screened to ensure readiness for therapeutic engagement. The emphasis on low acuity allows counselors to swiftly establish rapport and effectively guide clients towards personal development objectives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.
• Possession of an active and independent state-issued license as a Mental Health Counselor, specifically one of the following: LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Ability to make professional evaluations, informed decisions, and personalized treatment planning recommendations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards client interactions.
• Strong computer literacy skills to navigate telehealth platforms and electronic health records effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in telehealth settings or virtual therapy practices is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding various cultural contexts can enhance client interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload while balancing administrative tasks efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and dedication, Nurture Nest Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, based on your professional experience and caseload management. The role includes:
