Duties
Help

• You will perform clerical and administrative tasks in support of the mess hall's daily operations.
• You will prepare letters, reports, and other administrative documents for the Mess Hall Manager's review, signature, and forwarding to higher headquarters.
• You will manage office files, manuals, and publications; receives, opens, and routes all incoming correspondence
• You will assist the Mess Hall Manager and the Cook with meal production using menu planning programs.
• You will analyze inventory and usage data to properly order subsistence items within the authorized quarterly budget.
• You will oversee budget preparation and financial planning for food service operations to ensure accurate forecasting and effective resource management.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in providing administrative and clerical support for daily food service operations including: 1. Budgeting, financial reporting, and account reconciliating. 2. Inventory management, procurement, and supply accountability. 3. Operating Marine Corps Food Management Information System (MCFMIS) and Microsoft Office programs. 4. Data analysis, problem resolution, and regulatory compliance.
