Responsibilities Serving as a Training Admissions Specialist GS-0301-11 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Training Analysis and Allocations Branch (TRAAB), Training Resources Coordination Division (TRC), Training Management Operations(TMO) Directorate under the Office of the Associate Director for Training Operations and located within Artesia, New Mexico. The primary purpose of the position is to actively participate in the planning and coordination of the overall registration and allocation process of the center. Typical duties include: Developing the FLETC Training Projection Request Packets which are distributed to client agencies seeking training workload projections for the subsequent fiscal year and five out years. Allocating training slots in Center Basic and Center Advanced training programs to the FLETC agency clientele. Making recommendations to agency training officers on the appropriate training program suited for student's/agency's needs. Analyzing historical data and reviewing information to provide advisory guidance on agency allocations. Utilizing various evaluative and analytical tools and techniques to develop spreadsheets and databases to capture training workload. Initiating and coordinating preparation of confirmation correspondence, transmitting approved allocations and quotas to the appropriate federal agencies training officers. Determining the report dates for pre-registration rosters, notifying agencies when FLETC registration policy has been violated for past due rosters. For additional assistance, please visit: USAJOBS Help Center - Update your resume now so it meets new resume requirements Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one of the following: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in Federal service, that demonstrates the ability to (1) Planning, scheduling and/or coordinating resources and allocations for training programs and (2) Supporting registration and compliance processes by monitoring rosters, resolving attendance issues, and providing responsive support to agency representatives; OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; OR A combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience as described above that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application. NOTE: Only graduate education in excess of the first two years may be used to qualify for the GS-11 level.
