Work Environment

In this remote role, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values communication and teamwork. You will have the flexibility of a full-time schedule while being accessible to clients, including some evening and weekend hours, to accommodate their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients’ mental health concerns, coping mechanisms, and family dynamics, ensuring comprehensive emotional support.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care approaches.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, goals, and progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to enhance the quality of care and ensure coordinated treatment efforts.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during critical moments, assessing risk and working with clients to develop safety plans.
  • Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in real-time using electronic health records while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitate engaging and informative group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, encouraging client interaction and mutual support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients facing end-of-life issues and their families, providing a compassionate understanding of their emotional, psychological, and social needs. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, providing the foundational knowledge required for effective practice.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide therapeutic services within Texas.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with a strong focus on therapeutic techniques suited for clients facing significant life challenges.
