We are currently seeking a Business Analyst-Insurance-Business Consulting to join our team in McKinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are looking for a Business Analyst. Business analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Business analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions, and business needs
  • Elicit business requirements
  • Translate business requirements to functional requirements
  • Produce Data maps between source and target systems
  • Interpret data and analyze results
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Project co-ordination

Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a business analyst or business data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
