Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position based in Fresno, California, tailored to support our Detox Center operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' psychological state and treatment readiness, considering their personal histories and current challenges.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing mental health conditions and supporting recovery from substance use, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on fostering emotional regulation, coping strategies, and personal growth among clients in recovery.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring prompt and effective support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to create a seamless continuum of care, enabling holistic support for clients.
  • Organize and lead educational workshops that promote mental health awareness within the community, extending our service impact beyond the detox facility.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals in the detox process who are navigating various mental health and addiction challenges. Your role will ensure that these clients receive tailored care that respects their unique recovery journeys and promotes their long-term health and well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in California.
