Job Description e&e is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a remote contract opportunity in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions within the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. This role supports both existing functionality and new business initiatives by delivering secure, efficient, and innovative Salesforce applications.

The position requires close collaboration with business analysts, project managers, administrators, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance operational performance and user experience. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and the Salesforce Developer Toolkit. Build and maintain integrations with external systems utilizing REST and SOAP APIs.

Develop dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery. Configure and manage Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and automation processes. Participate in Agile sprints including planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to refine requirements and translate them into technical deliverables. Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Create dashboards, reports, and user interfaces that enhance data visibility and usability.

Document system design specifications, development standards, and deployment procedures. Manage code and configuration deployments across development, QA, and production environments. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to system performance or functionality.

Stay informed about Salesforce platform updates, emerging technologies, and best practices. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance policies. Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and participate in peer code reviews.

Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5-8 years of Salesforce development experience, including hands-on work with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. Proficiency with Salesforce Developer Toolkit, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.

Strong front-end development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery. Understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
