Overview:
Position: MuleSoft Developer
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to design, build, and optimize integration solutions across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, and best practices for scalable, secure integrations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Build API-led connectivity layers including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Mule 4 flows and integrations.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements.
  • Conduct unit testing, resolve defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Work with RAML specifications, DataWeave transformations, and reusable Mule components.
  • Optimize API performance, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure system scalability.
  • Maintain and enhance existing integrations as business needs evolve.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and integration best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment planning.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4-8+ years of experience in integration development, with minimum 3+ years in MuleSoft.
  • Strong proficiency in Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager.
  • Expertise in DataWeave 2.0, RAML, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins preferred.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, microservices, and API-led architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Anypoint MQ, CloudHub, and on-premise deployments.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Nice to Have
  • MuleSoft Developer certification (MCD - Level 1) or (MuleSoft Integration Architect)
  • Experience in Java or other backend technologies
