As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mindfulbear Counseling Center, your core responsibilities will include:

• Building strong, trusting relationships with clients through empathetic engagement and active listening.
• Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans for clients experiencing severe emotional and psychological issues.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation programs to empower clients and support their recovery journeys.
• Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and community resources, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Participating in regular team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance client outcomes.
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting care plans as necessary, while adhering to ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and recommending supplementary services or interventions as needed.

This role will involve working primarily with individuals facing significant mental health conditions often exacerbated by substance use challenges. The clientele may include individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, many of whom have limited access to appropriate mental health care. As a clinician, your focus will be on delivering compassionate care that respects the unique circumstances of each client while prioritizing their autonomy and voice in the treatment process.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and crisis intervention for populations experiencing complex mental health issues.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple caseloads effectively.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse clientele.
• Previous experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting, providing added context to client interactions.
