Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Application Administrator to support enterprise application operations for a federal government IT program. You will install, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot business-critical applications on Windows and/or Linux platforms, support security compliance activities, and contribute to a team ensuring 24/7 application availability for a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications on Windows and/or Linux server platforms
• Monitor application health and system availability during core business hours with on-call support for critical incidents
• Configure user access, security settings, ports, protocols, and external connectivity
• Apply STIG security configurations and support ongoing cybersecurity compliance
• Document and resolve application errors; perform root cause analysis
• Support disaster recovery exercises and planned/unplanned outage management
• Provide technical support to end users and IT management for supported applications
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: minimum T3 required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR applicable technical certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of application administration experience on Windows or Linux platforms
  • Working knowledge of enterprise server environments and application lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with security hardening and patch management practices

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Apache, Tomcat, IIS, LDAP, or Active Directory
• Familiarity with Splunk, ACAS, or similar security monitoring tools
• Knowledge of IPSwitch MoveIt, Oracle B2C, SharePoint, Tableau, or Verint administration
• Experience supporting SaaS or PaaS cloud-hosted environments
