Your day-to-day duties will be centered around providing exceptional mental health care, including:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized therapy plans.
• Leading therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to address a wide array of mental health issues.
• Utilizing behavioral techniques and therapeutic methodologies to support and guide clients toward their personal goals.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential client records in line with ethical and professional standards, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes.
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

In this role, you will work primarily with couples and individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your empathetic approach and ability to connect with clients on a personal level will be crucial in helping them navigate their unique journeys. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions, you will facilitate meaningful change and growth, ultimately enhancing the quality of their lives.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• An active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a telehealth or remote counseling setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Exceptional organizational skills, especially regarding record-keeping and documentation related to client care.

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will be highly regarded:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms, enhancing your capability to manage client information effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in therapeutic conversations with diverse populations, leading to positive therapeutic outcomes.
