We are searching for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join the Head Start Youth Counseling Center as a full-time resource for our remote detox center based in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role primarily focuses on providing high-quality mental health and substance use counseling to a diverse clientele, including youth, adults, and families seeking treatment for various challenges. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional outpatient counseling services focused on mental health and substance use for youth, adults, and families referred to our center.

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans aimed at helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Facilitating individual and couples therapy sessions to address a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, ensuring a tailored approach to each client.

• Managing ongoing appointments with clients, maintaining an organized scheduling system to ensure timely follow-ups and continuity of care.

• Meticulously documenting all client interactions and treatment progress, including timely completion of notes and record-keeping via our electronic health record system.

• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to create an integrated treatment approach, utilizing a billing service that manages claims and benefits efficiently.

The Head Start Youth Counseling Center concentrates on serving a diverse client base that includes individuals struggling with mental health issues and substance use disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to adults and often face complex life challenges requiring a multifaceted treatment strategy. Your role will be crucial in fostering trust and rapport with clients, guiding them through their recovery journeys with sensitivity and understanding.

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possession of a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited social work program.

• A valid state license to practice as a clinical social worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of four years of practical experience in clinical social work settings, with at least two years of post-master’s experience or relevant practicum experience during master’s education.

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• Background in working within substance use recovery and mental health treatment environments.

• Experience in providing therapy to families and couples dealing with addiction and related mental health challenges.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record management.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to USD 95,000 annually, plus performance bonuses. As part of our compensation package, you will also enjoy:
