Serene Unity Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Our therapists will primarily work in a remote telehealth setting, allowing flexibility and convenience in providing care. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and our remote model enables therapists to create a schedule that adheres to their needs while also being responsive to patient care requirements. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to understand individual patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that facilitate positive outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities suited to the client’s unique circumstances.
• Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions that foster communication, education, and community-building among individuals facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate closely with team members, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic and integrated care for every patient.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, skillfully guiding clients through mental health emergencies with effective support.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and staying abreast of advancements in mental health therapy practices.

The primary clientele at Serene Unity includes adults, adolescents, and families from various backgrounds who are seeking help for mental health challenges. Our therapists work with individuals facing common disorders like anxiety and depression, as well as those managing more complex issues such as bipolar disorder and substance use struggles. The diversity of our patient population necessitates a tailored and empathetic approach to therapy, ensuring that each client's unique background and circumstances are considered in their treatment.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW is essential.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy, particularly to culturally diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for patient engagement and collaboration.
• Ethical decision-making abilities and the capacity to maintain professional boundaries.
• Competency in using electronic health record systems and other digital tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field will be considered a significant advantage. Candidates with experience in telehealth delivery or those who've worked in outpatient psychiatric settings will be prioritized. Familiarity with various therapeutic orientations and the ability to engage with clients utilizing technology are also preferred.
