Safe Horizon Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time position allows you to work from home while providing high-quality mental health support to adults experiencing low-acuity issues. In this fully remote role, counselors have the autonomy to create their schedules within the parameters of Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. You will connect with clients through secure video chat sessions, leveraging technology to deliver care in a safe and confidential manner. The work environment emphasizes collaboration and innovation, utilizing telehealth tools and methodologies to provide seamless client engagement.

• Conduct one-on-one video therapy sessions, providing mental health assessment and treatment tailored to clients' individual needs.
• Utilize active listening and therapeutic techniques to encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
• Develop personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices and collaborative goal setting, ensuring alignment with clients’ aspirations.
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ mental health progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Act as a client advocate, empowering individuals to recognize and achieve their goals, while fostering resilience and self-sufficiency.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adult clients who may face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Our goal is to support clients in enhancing their emotional well-being through skill acquisition and therapeutic engagement. The supportive nature of our outpatient model allows for personalized care that respects each client’s unique background and circumstances.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• You must possess one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong computer literacy skills are essential to navigate telehealth platforms and manage client documentation effectively.

• Experience providing therapy to diverse adult populations is highly desirable.
• Previous telehealth or remote counseling experience can be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate a solution-focused approach in therapy sessions.

Safe Horizon Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, depending on hours worked and experience.
