About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance organization and partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team. The ideal candidate is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, fundraising, financial operations, and strategic planning.

As CFO, you will drive financial strategy, improve operational performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide data-driven insights that support sustainable business growth. This role is fully remote within the United States and offers the opportunity to influence executive decision-making across a fast-growing organization.


What You Will DoFinancial Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Drive profitability, operational efficiency, and cash flow optimization across the organization.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Build and oversee company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Develop financial models supporting strategic initiatives, pricing, and expansion.
  • Monitor KPIs and deliver actionable financial insights to business leaders.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze business performance and recommend improvements based on financial data.
Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, payroll, tax, procurement, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and audit readiness.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and legal partners.
Capital Management
  • Lead fundraising initiatives, debt financing, and investor relations when applicable.
  • Manage banking relationships and capital allocation strategies.
  • Optimize working capital and cash management processes.
  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments through financial due diligence.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and financial regulations.
  • Develop enterprise risk management strategies.
  • Oversee financial policies, governance, and internal audit functions.
  • Monitor tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance organization.
  • Foster collaboration across Finance, Operations, Sales, Product, HR, and Legal.
  • Promote data-driven decision making throughout the company.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives through automation and technology adoption.

Required Qualifications
  • 20+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
  • 10+ years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and corporate finance.
  • Experience leading FP&A, accounting, treasury, and financial operations.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and Board-level reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience in SaaS, Technology, FinTech, AI, or high-growth organizations.
  • Experience with venture-backed or private equity-backed companies.
  • IPO readiness or public company reporting experience.
  • M&A, fundraising, and investor relations experience.
  • Experience building remote finance organizations.
