Job description

We are looking for an experienced remote HRIS Manager to provide hands-on ownership of HR operations and optimize the use of ADP Workforce Now. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for a senior HR leader who can strengthen data integrity, support compliance-driven processes, and guide leaders on practical HR policies and procedures. The role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day operational support across employee records, benefits coordination, compensation administration, and employee relations. Candidates who have supported PEO environments and contractor populations across both 1099 and W-2 structures are folks that we are looking for to help assist us in pushing the business forward.

Responsibilities:

โ€ข Lead administration and continuous improvement of the HRIS environment, with a focus on maximizing functionality, reporting accuracy, and user adoption within ADP Workforce Now.

โ€ข Maintain organized, accurate employee data and oversee personnel record management to support compliance, reporting needs, and operational efficiency.

โ€ข Coordinate HR processes tied to onboarding documentation, background screening, status changes, and other core employment activities for a geographically dispersed team.

โ€ข Partner with leadership to advise on HR policies, employee relations matters, and consistent people practices that align with regulatory requirements and business needs.

โ€ข Support compensation and benefits administration by helping manage program changes, employee updates, and related system records.

โ€ข Provide HR operational guidance for a workforce that includes both independent contractors and employees, ensuring proper documentation and process consistency.

โ€ข Collaborate with external partners such as PEO providers and internal stakeholders to improve HR workflows and strengthen service delivery.

โ€ข Monitor compliance-related activities and recommend process enhancements that reduce risk and reinforce HR best practices.

โ€ข Contribute to HR system updates, implementations, or process changes when needed, ensuring transitions are documented and executed smoothly without disrupting core operations.

โ€ข Proven experience leading HRIS administration and HR operations in a senior-level HR role.
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and broader HRIS tools, including system configuration, analysis, and process optimization.
โ€ข Background supporting PEO relationships and navigating HR processes within outsourced or co-employment environments.
โ€ข Experience managing HR operations for workforces that include both W-2 employees and 1099 contractors.
โ€ข Solid understanding of employee records management, compliance requirements, benefits coordination, and compensation administration.
โ€ข Ability to advise managers and stakeholders on HR policies, employee relations issues, and operational best practices.
โ€ข Comfortable working independently in a strategic, part-time or fractional capacity while supporting a distributed or global team.
