Job Summary
The IT Applications Manager - Integration will lead the design, implementation, integration, and operational support of enterprise application integrations across the organization. This role is responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and standards-based interoperability between business systems, including EHR platforms (HL7 & FHIR), cloud environments (AWS), and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce.The IT Applications Manager - Integration will lead a team of developers and oversee integration architecture, interface development, API strategy, vendor coordination, and operational support while ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability of mission-critical enterprise systems.
Essential Functions
  • Lead architecture, development, and lifecycle management of enterprise integrations.
  • Architect and manage integrations within AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/SNS, RDS).
  • Establish API governance and interoperability standards across platforms.
  • Support integration across all enterprise systems.
  • Ensure proper monitoring, alerting, and issue resolution processes.
  • Ensure HIPAA and healthcare data compliance.
  • Lead and mentor integration engineers and analysts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Oversee project planning, delivery timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). required
  • 5+ years in enterprise application integration. required
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role. required
  • Working experience with HL7, FHIR, CCD/CDA, RESTful APIs and middleware platforms, and AWS cloud services required
  • Experience with interface engines (e.g., GraphQL, Mirth) preferred
  • AWS certifications Preferred
  • Salesforce integration certification Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Preferred Qualifications including experience in healthcare IT environments

The annual salary for this position is:

$119,000.00 to $140,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
