Work Environment

This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a balanced work-life dynamic. Your primary focus will be on individual and group therapy sessions, with the support of a collaborative healthcare team. Although you’ll be working from home, regular meetings, training, and team-building activities will foster a sense of community among the staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based mindfulness interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs for stress reduction, increased relaxation, and overall well-being.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify clients’ stressors and therapeutic goals, enabling customized mindfulness practice plans.
  • Facilitate mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques during therapy to enhance clients’ self-awareness and emotional regulation.
  • Develop and lead engaging group workshops on mindfulness techniques and resilience strategies, promoting community learning and support.
  • Integrate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, to encourage clients' overall growth and recovery.
  • Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to client treatment.
  • Maintain diligent and accurate documentation of client progress, intervention strategies, and treatment plans to ensure quality care and compliance with professional standards.
  • Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice and ongoing professional development to enhance your expertise in mindfulness counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our clients are predominantly adults who seek to cultivate mindfulness as a pathway to improve their quality of life. Our approach fosters a safe, judgment-free space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while working towards personal growth and the reduction of mental distress.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster a calm and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience
