Job description

[Senior Consultant, Power Platform] [Atlanta, GA] Full-Time, W2 Hybrid/ Remote

Who We Are

Engineer Up is a Microsoft Power Platform consulting firm specializing in enterprise-grade solutions. We partner with enterprise clients who have high expectations and high stakes, delivering robust, scalable implementations-no fluff. We're also a growing company with significant opportunity ahead. We're intentional about building a place where people are genuinely proud to work. The people who join us understand what it takes to build something great-and want a real hand in shaping it.

Who You Are

A hands-on Senior Power Platform Developer with a high focus on code quality, architectural best practices, and enterprise-grade implementations. Your teammates would describe you as someone who tells it straight, even when it's not the easiest path. At Engineer Up, 'mopping the floor' means you don't wait to be asked to step in, and no task is beneath you. When something isn't working, you focus on finding a path forward, not dwelling on the problem. You listen before you speak, and you care about outcomes-not just for yourself, but for the people around you. We strive to show up this way as a team, too-and that's what you can expect from us.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Maintaining and optimizing legacy Power Apps with focus on performance tuning and code refactoring
  • Architecting and implementing complex Power Automate workflows with advanced data transformations and external API integrations
  • Designing and developing scalable business applications using Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and custom PCF components
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to 1-2 junior developers, including code reviews and architecture guidance
  • Leading full-stack feature development from requirements gathering through deployment and monitoring
  • Facilitating technical workshops with clients and serving as primary technical liaison for solution architecture discussions

What You Know (Qualifications)

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Power Platform development with demonstrated expertise in enterprise implementations
  • Strong software development foundation with proven experience in React and TypeScript, including component lifecycle management and state management patterns
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate (including custom connectors), Coding (PowerFX, SPFx), and Dataverse (including complex data modeling)
  • Experience with Power Platform ALM practices, including solution packaging, environment management, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in integration patterns with external systems via REST APIs, Azure services, and on-premises data gateways
  • Understanding of Power Platform governance, security models, and performance optimization techniques

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range $110,000 - $145,000 depending on experience

Benefits include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Professional Development budget
  • Company sponsored events

Sound like you? If you're a Senior Power Platform Developer who wants to do work that actually counts, and do it alongside people who hold themselves to the same standard, we'd like to hear from you.

Important:

Applicants based in California or New York will not be considered for this position. We are not able to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
