The Kelso Comprehensive Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trauma-Focused Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of your own space. As a member of a remote team, you will utilize virtual communication tools to connect with patients, monitor progress, and collaborate with healthcare providers and social agencies. • Conduct initial evaluations of patient needs through comprehensive assessments to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with patients to develop coping strategies and therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique experiences with trauma.
• Utilize detailed documentation with electronic medical records (EMR) and software like Salesforce to track patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Facilitate regular progress reviews, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and changing needs.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and enhance clinical skills.
• Educate patients and support staff on various coping mechanisms related to stress, trauma recovery, and emotional health.
• Coordinate with community resources and healthcare providers to ensure patients receive comprehensive support and services.
• Advocate for the importance of timely assessments and individualized care for trauma patients in the community.

As a vital member of our team, you will primarily work with trauma injury patients who are experiencing significant mental and emotional challenges. This includes individuals recovering from physical injuries, those coping with grief and loss, and others who may have experienced various forms of trauma. Your role will involve fostering a safe, trusting environment where patients feel empowered to share their experiences and work towards their recovery goals.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically working with trauma patients, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-informed care.
• Strong knowledge and skills in evidence-based therapeutic methods and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Prior experience with Salesforce, or similar case management software, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops on trauma recovery and mental health awareness.

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
