Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individual, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on identifying problems, developing solutions, and fostering resilience.
• Conduct thorough assessments and treatment plans to address mental health disorders, including trauma and dual diagnoses.
• Utilize an electronic health record (EHR) system to document client interactions accurately and ensure compliance with various insurance standards, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed to enhance the service delivery model and client outcomes.
• Manage your schedule effectively, demonstrating the ability to work independently and responsibly while also showing flexibility for evening and weekend sessions when necessary.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Kelso Comprehensive Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing mental health challenges. Our patient population may include individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and dual diagnosis situations. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• At least three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• Must have access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer, a stable internet connection, and a webcam for virtual sessions.
• A willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in using cloud-based EHR systems and familiarity with telehealth best practices.
• Previous experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations is highly valued.
• A background in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for complex cases.

Compensation and Benefits
