This position is entirely remote, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still being a vital part of our supportive team. Our telehealth facility allows you to engage with clients via secure online platforms, ensuring continuity of care in a convenient setting. We prioritize a work-life balance, maintaining normal business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and nature of mood disorder symptoms, including depression and anxiety.
• Design individualized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, focusing on their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in their recovery journeys.
• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mood disorders and treatment methods.
• Track and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Work in close coordination with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health to incorporate best practices into therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans that adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to collaboratively improve client outcomes and enhance clinical expertise.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting stigma-free environments for individuals experiencing mood disorders.

Your role will center around helping individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will offer compassionate support to a diverse clientele, fostering an understanding and therapeutic environment that promotes hope and healing.

We require:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration with psychiatrists.
• Proven record of successful client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to cultivate trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Ideal candidates will have a robust background in evidence-based therapeutic practices, particularly CBT and DBT, with substantial experience in treating mood disorders. Experience in a telehealth setting is also valued, ensuring you’re well-prepared to thrive in our remote environment.
