• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to enhance clients' mental health and improve their coping strategies.
• Create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, encouraging open discussions that lead to emotional insights and personal development.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach to address specific client issues and support their goals.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions through assessments and ongoing evaluations, adapting treatment methods as necessary.
• Provide client advocacy by helping them articulate their needs and coordinating care as appropriate.

In this role, you will be primarily serving stable adults facing low-acuity mental health issues. These clients are carefully screened to ensure that your therapeutic interventions are both effective and impactful. By working mostly with individuals who are ready and willing to improve their mental health, you’ll have the opportunity to witness and facilitate significant positive transformations in their lives.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license issued by the state of Texas; limited or provisional licenses are not acceptable.
• Strong evaluative skills with the ability to make informed treatment planning and implementation decisions based on client assessments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including empathy and the ability to relate to diverse client backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using technology for remote counseling sessions and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Experience in outpatient therapy with a focus on marriage, family, and individual therapy.
• Previous success in remote therapy settings and comfort with virtual communication tools.
• Knowledge of modern psychological techniques and best practices related to mental health treatment.
