Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Job Summary
We are recruiting a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a full-time remote clinical position serving clients through telehealth. This role is designed for an LMFT who is confident providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families while maintaining accurate documentation and thoughtful treatment plans.
Clients may come to therapy for anxiety, stress, grief, marital concerns, parenting challenges, separation, family tension, or major transitions. Your role is to assess their needs, provide clinically appropriate therapy, and help them work toward realistic emotional and relational goals.
Role Details
Location: Ocala, FL
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients virtually for individual, couples, or family therapy
  • Complete assessments that consider mental health, family history, and relationship dynamics
  • Support clients with communication issues, emotional distress, separation, grief, parenting stress, and life transitions
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans based on client needs
  • Use appropriate clinical interventions during therapy sessions
  • Document session notes, treatment updates, and progress
  • Screen for safety concerns and follow clinical protocols when needed
  • Recommend additional resources or higher levels of care when appropriate
  • Maintain professional standards for remote client care

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active Florida LMFT license required
  • License must be current, unrestricted, and in good standing
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a remote caseload independently
  • Reliable internet connection and private workspace for virtual sessions
