Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to identify patient needs and risks.
- Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that are culturally relevant, incorporating the patient's specific goals and challenges.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in various formats, including individual, couple, family, and group therapies.
- Provide timely crisis intervention services and coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient challenges.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Empower patients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with effective strategies to manage their mental health conditions.
- Regularly assess treatment outcomes to gauge effectiveness and adjust treatment plans accordingly to enhance patient progress and satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of ongoing research, emerging trends, and best practices in mental health treatment to enhance your clinical approach.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality consistently throughout your work.
You will work with a diverse population that includes individuals facing a wide array of challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relational issues. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, necessitating a culturally responsive approach to therapy that honors their unique experiences and contexts.
Qualifications- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
- Strong ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required.
- Experience utilizing trauma-informed approaches and evidence-based practices in clinical settings is highly desirable.
- The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and USD 84,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
