Position Overview

Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to enrich our multidisciplinary team. This full-time, remote position will allow you to provide vital therapeutic services to diverse individuals, couples, families, and groups, helping them navigate their mental health journeys. In this role, you will manage and maintain a caseload of clients experiencing a variety of mental health disorders, creating impactful treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote work environment, leveraging telehealth innovations to provide care. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, you will benefit from a supportive schedule that allows work-life balance, free from evening and weekend obligations. You will collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals and healthcare providers in a dynamic setting that encourages teamwork and holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.
  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and counseling tailored to the specific issues faced by clients.
  • Engage effectively in multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights, update client progress, and coordinate care with primary care providers and staff.
  • Perform timely evaluations and intakes for new patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Maintain compliance with mental health policies and procedures while supporting program objectives.
  • Screen and provide referrals for patients dealing with substance abuse issues, implementing appropriate treatment resources within our network.
  • Document patient interactions and progress accurately in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards, minimizing paperwork to concentrate on client care.
  • Assist clients in accessing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and other specialized services as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center, you will primarily serve adult patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Our approach is client-centered, prioritizing the individual needs and goals of each patient, fostering a supportive setting where they can thrive. You will play a crucial role in facilitating their recovery, guiding them through personal challenges, and celebrating their successes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with a current LCSW license to practice in Texas.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical social work, showcasing strong assessment and therapeutic skills.
  • Exemplary problem-solving abilities and mature judgment, particularly in crisis intervention scenarios.
  • CADET – Culturally Attuned, Direct, Empathetic, Team-oriented approach to patient care.
  • Proficient in documentation and use of electronic health records to track patient data efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, allowing for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in detox or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with community resources and services available to clients in the San Antonio area.
  • Experience in providing virtual therapy sessions using telehealth technology.
