Job description

About Shapermint
Shapermint is one of North America's leading DTC shapewear and intimates brands, trusted by millions of women for its comfort-first designs, inclusive fit, and empowering mission.
Built on a powerful performance engine, Shapermint scales through rapid experimentation, AI driven execution, and a relentless focus on profitable growth.
We operate across the US, Canada, and international markets - and we run one of the most advanced creative and media performance systems in the DTC space.
Our philosophy is simple: test fast, learn faster, and scale what works - with ownership, speed, and excellence.
Why Shapermint
  • One of North America's top shapewear brands, trusted by millions.
  • Strong presence in the U.S. and Canada, with international eCommerce reach across the U.K., Europe, and Australia.
  • Expanding into U.S. retail and major marketplaces like Amazon with our best-selling products.
  • Powerful performance engine driving multi-six-figure daily ad spend.
  • Deep investment in AI, UGC, and rapid creative testing.
  • Fully remote, competitive salary, and the chance to impact a leading DTC brand.

Key Responsibilities
We're hiring a Director of Acquisition to lead end-to-end customer growth for a $500M+ DTC brand with over $100M in annual media spend. This role owns performance across paid, owned, and organic channels, driving efficient scaling while hitting CAC targets.
By combining strong creative strategy, funnel optimization, and media leadership (budget allocation, attribution, and testing), this person will ensure profitable growth and long-term customer value.
  • Own acquisition strategy and execution across paid, owned, and organic channels, with Meta as the primary channel and others supporting scale
  • Budget allocation across $100M+ annual paid media spend with clear performance accountability.
  • Creative strategy that drives sales for individual products and bundles.
  • Use of AI tools across creative, media, and funnel to improve testing velocity and decision making.
  • Funnel performance management (ad → landing page → offer → CRO tests).
  • Testing frameworks to measure incrementality and true contribution.
  • Leadership of a team of Growth Managers across media, creative, and funnel.

  • Your responsibility is clear: Drive sustainable, profitable customer growth.

  • 10+ years in performance marketing or acquisition roles.
  • Proven experience scaling direct response products (not just managing campaigns).
  • Managed $50M+ annual ad spend with clear allocation and testing logic.
  • Strong creative strategy skills with ability to define angles, hooks, and offers.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve creative output, testing velocity, or acquisition performance
  • Hands-on experience building and optimizing funnels (ad, landing page, offer, CRO).
  • Experience leading 5-6+ senior growth or performance managers.
  • Background in DTC, performance marketing, affiliate, or direct response environments.
  • Proven ability to sell individual products or bundles (not only catalog or marketplace models).
  • Strong learning mindset (books, podcasts, frameworks in marketing, persuasion, sales).
  • Not a fit for brand, content, or marketplace-only profiles.
